Everyone experiences headaches from time to time. However, when they become frequent or even chronic, they are debilitating and extremely disruptive to our lives. Migraine headaches are far more intense with throbbing, pulsing, often nausea/vomiting with heightened sensitivity to sound, light, and odors. Migraines take us out of our everyday life and send us to a dark, quiet room for hours or even days. All headaches- migraines, tension, or hormonal, rob us of our daily lives. All layers of our being are affected. Headaches ‘live’ in our head where 4 of our 5 senses reside. They affect everything about how we experience and respond to the world. They truly shut us down.
